Kiddos

Some mornings you just can't resist taking a couple of shots. I can't believe Connor will be 4 next month and Quinn is already 4 months.

This is what you get as a gift...

when your husband, his brother and his brother-in-law buy enough beers at a bar on Christmas Eve afternoon.

SNOW DAY!

During the weather segment on the news Saturday, it was reported that we have a chance of snow for the next 7 days. The most excited people in the Salt Lake valley about this possibility sleep under my roof.
For the obvious reasons, Preston is like a kid at Christmas when we are going to get dumped with snow. It's so he can strap boards to his feet and ski the big POW!
For Connor it's all about the snow removal. He can't wait to zip up his gear and head out for some serious time with his bulldoozer and dump truck in the snow.

Happy New Year

By now, the decorations are stored away, the trees are on the curb for the city to recycle, resolutions have been broken, you've returned 50% of your gifts and we are back in Salt Lake after almost 3 weeks in NE and KS.
Thank you to our families for putting up with us for such a long stay and for those of you we missed this time around, count your blessings. You won't be so lucky next year!
This picture was to be sent out to the masses, but after one glance I just couldn't send it. I had dreamed of a beautiful shot of the 4 of us in front of the tree. It just wasn't meant to be (of the 6 taken this was the best). Apparently the holidays were just way to much for Miss Quinn, Connor's smile is seriously short of believable and Preston and I were drenched in sweat after having just loaded the Sequoia with the 10 tons of luggage and Christmas presents.
But, know that even though we didn't send out "Wishing You the Merriest of Holidays" cards we were thinking of all of you.
We hope you are well, healthy and happy as we enter 2008. Don't forget we welcome guests at any time, so pack your bags and make the trip.
