Baby Girl

Miss Quinn is growing like a weed! She is constantly chattering at us - in her stroller, car seat, high chair, etc. She has a lot to say and by the sound of it, not all of it is a compliment to our parenting. She is also rolling like crazy and sitting up really well. No signs of crawling or standing up, but is constantly moving nonetheless. (7 1/2 months old)

Behind Bars

Hopefully this isn't a glimpse into the future...Nah, it's just Connor in the bounce house at the "Best Birthday Party Ever - for real", which is how Connor describes Max's birthday party. So, you might ask, "What made it the 'Best Birthday Party Ever - for real'?" Oh, I don't know if it was the batman capes and rings that every child received upon entering the party, the transformation of their garage into THE Batcave with superhero movies playing, or the Spiderman bouncehouse. Hmmm, maybe it was the broccoli from the veggie tray. Yeah, that was definitely it.

Performance at Connor's School

The Spring Dance Performance at Connor's school was held on Friday. In the past Connor has not been interested in participating in school performances, but this particular event has been talked about many evenings in our home leading up to the big night. So, much like the other parents we attended, viewing the entire performance with huge smiles of pride on our faces and cameras strapped to our necks.
It was a bit dark for our camera, but we still got some great pictures of Connor in his costume and on stage.

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day. I slept in, lounged in my pajamas for the morning and we spent the afternoon at Red Butte Garden.

That hair!

So, I've received a lot of comments about Quinn's hair. Some have even suggested that I cut it so it will grow "normally". I'm not sure that The Barton 4 do anything "normally". That's just not a word that we use very often. Nor do others use that word about us. That said, I think we'll let Quinn's hair continue to have a mind of its own.

This is Connor and his buddy Max during Art Class at school. I can already tell, he is genius material.
