That Hair! Part II

Nope. Not doing it. I am not cutting Quinn's hair. I have, however purchased these very small and only slightly sparkly barrettes. I still love to just let her hair curl and stick up naturally, but some days I give in and slap a barrette in it just to temporarily appease those of you who think I should pull out the scissors. As Connor would say, "I am right. You are not."

Honestly I can't believe how lucky I am. These are the three faces that I end all of my days with and the three faces that greet me each morning. Albeit I am much more enthusiastic on those days when it is 7:00 am vs. 5:45 am, but you've got to take the not so good with the really good, right?

Pool Party

The Barton 4 had a pool party on Sunday. Connor insisted that a pool party must include Cheetos, juice boxes, music and most toys out of the playroom. What he didn't count on was the 55 degree water!

Houseguest

This is Emmitt. Emmitt is staying with us while her family spends some time in L.A. She is the sweetest dog and after just 4 hours with us we have decided that we are definitely ready for another dog. For the next couple of weeks though, we get to enjoy her company. Having her around also helps us feel like our dear friends aren't so far away after all.

Summertime, summertime, sum, sum, summertime

Connor is so excited that summer is almost here. He can't wait to hit the pool, head to the farm, enjoy visits from his grandparents and ride his bike. Quinn is excited for summer to show off the physique she's been working on all winter.
Looking this good in hotpants - it's hard work people.
